JCWs to stop production

Based on the information gathered from sources this will affect all JCW models in Europe and the UK…

What’s Happening to JCWs and When?

European JCW production will be temporarily stopped later this year due to the new WLTP regulations looking at fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Based on the information gathered from sources this will affect all JCW models in Europe and the UK.

  • F56/F57 John Cooper Works  & ALL4 : Production stop from May 2018 to March 2019
  • F54/F60 John Cooper Works : Production stop from June 2018 to July 2019
  • JCW Engine Kit: The Engine software has been WLPT approved but the exhaust is not. This means all new JCW Engine Kits in Europe will only come with JCW Engine management software

Therefore you only have a matter of days to place a factory order should there be any slots available.  After this only stock cars will be available, meaning you won’t get to choose the specification of your JCW.

    1. Totally agree Paul. It’s going to hit them hard. But I suppose they will make the Cooper S’s more appealing whilst it is out of production.
